A Note From Marcea

As your therapist, I will challenge you to embrace meaningful change through intentional action while we work together to develop the skills you need to regulate your emotions throughout the process. I believe in asking thoughtful questions to build a comprehensive understanding of your background, which allows us to identify the most effective approaches and establish clear markers of your progress. My role is to guide, support, validate, and collaborate with you to determine what makes your life fulfilling and meaningful.

I work primarily with LGBTQ+ individuals, those in kink communities, and neurodivergent people, specializing in embracing the extraordinary and processing unique challenges to help you create sustainable life practices. Through this lens, I will help you recognize your autonomy and your capacity to live authentically according to your own values.

​My therapeutic approach focuses on empowering you to work with your existing strengths and resources, adapting your life to fit your needs rather than conforming to external expectations. I hold the fundamental belief that you deserve inner peace and healthy relationships. I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you identify your core values and establish healthy boundaries. From there, I will teach you practical skills to live consistently within those values as you continue to grow and evolve.
